Lunch Room Rules

1.                  Don’t run or push in the lunch lines or lunch room (The Franciscan Room).

2.                  Remember manners (“please” and “thank-you” to all lunch parent volunteers and monitors)
            RESPECT THESE WONDERFUL PEOPLE!

3.                  We serve age-appropriate portions for the “A” lunch, but if you are still hungry, we will gladly serve seconds
            on fruits and vegetables as long as you have finished your first servings of everything.

4.                  You don’t have to take everything offered, but it’s good to try something different.

5.                  Eat your lunch over the table!  This will help eliminate messy floors.

6.                  It’s OK to visit with your classmates, but remember you won’t have another chance to eat until school is over. 
            Visit quietly.  Remember, INSIDE VOICES.

7.                  Do your best to finish the lunch your parents sent or the lunch that Hot Meals, Inc. prepared.  Don’t be wasteful –
            if you only want a little bit of something, please let the server know.

8.                  When the 5 minute bell is rung you must quiet down and concentrate on finishing your lunch.  You may get up
            quietly and dispose of your garbage and/or recycling items.  Then sit back down.  Check under your seat for
            garbage and pick it up.  Remember to clean up after yourself.

9.                  When the 2 minute bell is rung there should be no talking. This is your time to finish eating.

10.              Lunch monitors will dismiss tables.  Push in your chair and line up on the blue line along the windows quietly.

11.              Children with lunch trays give to lunch moms at the silver cart.  Children with lunch boxes, go behind lunch moms
            by the silver cart.  If your silverware falls into the garbage, let a lunch parent know so it can be retrieved.

12.              Line up quietly in hallway.
